Josh Coffman
Senior Pastor
Josh grew up in Livingston, TN where he accepted the Lord Jesus at the age of 15. Josh went through a period of running from God’s calling on his life. But in December of 2006, Josh surrendered his life to ministry. He didn’t know what that looked like or what it involved, but knew God was calling him to do something. A few months later, he heard about Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN and enrolled there the following fall. It was there that he graduated with a bachelor's degree in youth ministry in 2010 and his Master's of Ministry from Temple Baptist Seminary in 2012. Josh met his wife Whitney at Temple while part of the Campus Worship Band and they married in November 2011. He is currently working on a MDIV in Great Commission Studies from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Josh and Whitney were called to First Baptist in April 2013 as Associate Pastor and was called as Senior Pastor in October 2023. They have two daughters, Charlotte and Lucy.
